I’m being plagued. With words and burnings in my heart I cannot even begin to explain. It’s times like this when the locusts of hardened hearts and frogs of chirping, opposing advise swallow my fresh breath and try to take me whole.

Like Moses I stand before a living God and hear Him say it’ll end. That He will set His people free. With a whirl of wind and bugs named Chaos my hair twirls above and my heart within. And I breath with buzzing still all around me, and I know. From these plagues, He came to set me free. Do you know, He came just to set you free?

Cup your hands around your mouth dear friends who perhaps feel endangered by plagues. Cup your hands over your mouth and loosen your lips from their strain. Close your eyes and heed His voice, breathing in, and deeply out. Hold tight, anchor in, and be brave little one. Stand still and know; He is God, and He will fight for you. You only need to be still.

“Peace is not an absence of war; it is a virtue, a state of mind, a disposition for benevolence, confidence, justice.”-Baruch Spinoza
